The unparalleled Great Himalayan Tea of Legend
Darjeeling, meaning “storm country” in Tibetan, is the capital of Bengal located at the foot of the Himalayas. This tea is often nicknamed “the champagne of teas” as it is one of the most prestigious teas in the world. The Darjeeling Thé de la Pagode gardens are found in the foothills of the Himalayas between 1200 and 2000 metres above sea level.
This springtime grand cru produces a yellow infusion, lightly spiked with the delicate flavour of Muscat and green almond which embraces the palate and plays with fresh, pronounced, exotic notes. The taste lingers in the mouth and mind.

Composition: Darjeeling 100% Organic Black Tea.
Darjeeling black tea is one of the most famous teas in the world. Originating from prestigious plantations nestling at the foot of the Himalayas, this legendary black tea will delight the finest palates.
Tea cultivation did not arrive in India until the XIXth century. The British wanted to break China's commercial monopoly on tea by introducing tea cultivation to northern India in particular, in 1856, right in the heart of a mountainous region on the outskirts of the town of Darjeeling. The choice of this geographical location was not a coincidence. In fact, this region, which is located between 2,000 and 3,000 metres above sea level, has ideal climatic conditions for tea trees to blossom.
