In India, masala chai teas are made with ‘warming’ spices chosen for their taste and properties. Our new organic Tonichaï® tea is inspired by this tradition and boosts well-being.
We have selected an organic Sencha green tea from China’s Jiangsu province. Sencha tea is renowned for its beneficial properties and sweet, rounded mouth feel. The blend of ginger, cassia cinnamon and cardamom create a rich, indulgent taste.
Sencha green tea helps fight against mental and physical fatigue. It is obtained by placing tea leaves in a steam bath within hours of being picked. This technique stops the leaves from undergoing oxidation, preserving their green colour, antioxidant and theine content, and their fresh, herbal taste. The theine in Tonichaï® tea is responsible for its energising properties.
The freshness of mint balances the notes in this tonic and beneficial blend.
Tonichaï® is a spiced tea with a boost thanks to the beneficial properties of Sencha green tea, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. It also has a mouth-watering taste and a soft, captivating, fresh and lively aroma.

Thés de La Pagode® respects an age-old tradition to ensure that all the benefits of tea are preserved. Indeed, the quality and fragrance of a tea are determined, among other things, by the type of leaf picked. In spring, in the gardens of Thés de la Pagode®, the "Imperial Plucking" is practiced: the pluckers select only the bud ("Pekoe" in Mandarin) and the first leaf. Another technique used is "fine picking". In this case, the pickers remove the bud and the first two leaves.
